Guelmim Sidi Ifni Excursion (1d)
Insight
The Camel Market
A real day trip to a magnificent city that opens onto the great arid Sahara. Guelmim is also a new experience in oasis seaside tourism.
The Dromedary, the desert animal of Africa, Australia and the Near East, provides many services to nomads: work, skin, milk and meat production, for survival in desert environments. Racing dromedaries are very fast, running at speeds of up to 70 km/h, and large males can weigh up to 1100 kg. Dromedaries are once again being used by the police, as they are the only discreet means of controlling remote areas.
