Little Marrakech, Taroudant is a small town 80 km east of Agadir... an hour and a half's drive away... in the heart of the Souss plain and through fields of orange trees as far as the eye can see...
We arrive at the medina (old town) surrounded by 8 km of adobe ramparts... 8 m high... tells the story of the city over several centuries... Horse-drawn carriages and lush gardens in bloom all year round are part of everyday life in Taroudant.
The former palace of the pashas of Taroudant, Ouarzazat and Marrakech has been transformed into a hotel. A good cup of coffee or orange juice (€1.50/person) is highly recommended in the shade of these lush gardens.
Unfortunately, since the covid 19 crisis, the establishment has been closed for unknown reasons.
This half-day can take place in the morning at 09:00 or in the afternoon at 14:30.
